The Beginning

Welcome to The Big Transition, a culmination of “the beginning,” and the launch of something new, dare I say the start of our “middle years.” To me this transition is one of irony; for years already I have been working for architecture firms and development companies, invested in start ups, traded stocks, and participating on adult boards across many organizations.

I have longed for the day that my body and age met up with the mindset that I lived on a daily basis. Year after year, phase after phase, I wanted nothing more to get out of whatever environment I was currently in and into the real-world life’s that we are destined to be a part of. Now, with that real-world setting knocking on the door, I will finally be making the leap I have always dreamed of.

For all the dreaming and all the planning, there is still so much unknown, so many blind corners to turn, so many hurdles to jump. I personally welcome you to join our journey through this transition, and sincerely hope that with your insights, advice from around the world, and the reassurances of your peers, all of us can make this transition as smooth and rewarding as possible.
